I recently ordered furniture from Designo Furniture, Sadashive Peth, Pune. Initially, I got very good response from Designo Furniture salesman Bashir Ahamad.
He visited my place for initial order and measurements and showed great experties and committement towards delivering good furniture in four weeks.
i visited their shop for initial payment, their was one lady which came to their shop, she was shouting at them, saying "tumne hamara sapana toad diya, kya ghatiya furniture bana ker diya hai", Bashir Sales Man asked us to ignore her, as her delivery was delayed. We thought, it might be an exception, where customer had high expectations and it could have been met, I regrate that today. I should have believed that lady instead of Designo Sales Man Bashir Ahamad.
I was asked to pay 50% of complete order, which i did on time, I visited their manufacturing site in Kondwa after two weeks. First finding the workshop was very difficult, as they dont have any sign board or something, when i went to shop, no body Knew who is working on my order. There were no proper tools or workbenches. I asked supervisior about my order, then he called up at Shop and then he said, your order is not yet fully started, only plywood is cut and its lying somewhere.
My furniture was delivered after six weeks, it was delayed by two weeks. When It was delivered, it was not in proper conditions.
1. Mirror which were fitted were of bad quality. One would feel giddy after looking in to mirror continuously for two mins.
2. None of the wardrobe doors were properly aligned, on closing both the wardrobe doors, one of them was lying out by 1 CM.
3. Glass doors which were fitted in shelfs, they fell down after two weeks, as they were not fitted properly.
4. Dressing was not fitted at all, still till date, they have not come to fix the dressing table.
5. None of the lock was working because of the wrong alignment.
6. Trolly of bed, was not going insite completely. Handles used on trolly are of bad quality.
7. Biggest thing, they agreed for side tables and puffy, which they din delivered at all, they are now saying, we din added it to bill, you have to pay extra money for that.
8. Quality of Plywood used is pathetic, there is no proper finnishing and smoothness in polish and playwood.
9. Its been two months now, I have been calling them home to fix all the mis-alignments and complete the final fitment. Either they dont pick the call or they say they will come tomorrow for sure.
10. Their sales man, Bashir and Riyaz, they change their Mobile Number every month to avoid getting calls from dissatisfied customers.
11. Their Owner Mr Naresh, he never comes on call, he never share his number, he never meet any customer.
I was cheated by these guys, I request others not to do the same mistake which i did.
