Medical Pharmacists - Mumbai
Compelling purchase of Medicines

Dear Sir,

This is bring to yr notice about the way medical shops in Borivali (E) Kandivali Area, Thakur Village and Thakur Complex, are compelling customers / patients to buy medicines more than what is required.

Today I went to buy Tribhuvankirti and asked for ten tablets. The pharmacist (Flora Medical & General Stores, Shop no 15, Shree Dheeraj Savera, Khatau Mill Compound, Opp Siddharth Nagar, Borivali (East) Mumbai - 400066) gave me 70 tablets (7 strips x 10 tablets) and asked me to take all 7 strips and refused to give me give me one strip, which I required.

Bill No: 14531 Dated 25.12.2009

The same incident happened, when I went to buy 5 tablets of Stemetil, the pharmacist gave me one full strip containing 21 tablets.

Since I wanted the medicines hence I was compelled to take all the tablets. Such cases have happened with my friends as well.

I request you to kindly investigate the same and intervene to stop such practices.
