The Executives of Bag it Today or IndiaToday Book Club call on my mobile every now & then to ' TRAP' me informing me that I have won a gift of so & so amount but to claim this gift I have to create a charge slip of certain amount from my bank in their favor as govt Tax (further to clear they call as TDS)
On my explanation that TDS is supposed to be deucted by the paying agency, he said it was to be done by me . when I refused to do anything regarding generating of charge slip so advised, he disconnected saying it was your loss
It is just to make AWARE of the customers not to lure by such 'GIFTS / REWARDS'
