Good Morning!
I applied for Airtel IPTV/Broadband Service on July 21.
The form was filled and payment was made in cash (Amount INR 1750/-) wide receipt# 16070066 dated July 21
and Xerox copy of all the required self attested documents were also provided the same day to Airtel's executive
named Mr. Kamal Sethi who was accompanied by Mr. Tushar Verma (Territory Sales Manager).
I had a very touch time chasing Airtel people to know about the status of the installation of the new connection, which is a process of only 7 days to the maximum.
On August 20, which after one month of submitting the payment to Airtel, I got a call from Airtel stating that Airtel is not capable of
providing a connection to me and the amount deposited in cash will be refunded by the means of cheque and this process will take 45 more days.
Firstly i do not understand as to why i can not get the connection when the people next door have airtel broadband connection? Secondly if this was the case then why did airtel people got my application filled and why the money was taken from me? How can it take 30 days to decide the ineligibility, when my home is not even 300 meters away from the Airtels office in sector 57?
Why do i have to suffer because of Airtels ineligibility?
Then one day a person named Mr. Pankaj from Airtel's Appelet team called to confirm that the refund will be processed by September 09.
Till today I have not for my refund.
Why should suffer for Airtel's ineligibility. Who gave them the right to block my money like this.
Please help.
