I activated Rs. 98 GPRS pack for 1GB/month on my Airtel Prepaid.
Whenever I try to open any page even on my phone, not even google opens for several minuts before it hangs up automatically. Sometimes I have to disconnect it forcefully after being irritated from this for several minutes. Each time the connection is disconnected, a message is prompted showing 4MB has been deducted from my 1GB balance even if no page is opened.
I can't even open Google or any other site neither on phone nor on PC. And still my data balance has been deducted by 120MB even when I was not able to surf even google.
And even if it gets connected after trying for a long time, the transfer rate is 2kb-3kb/sec. And even worse, not even 1kb/sec many a times.
They are just fooling their customers.
When they are providing limited data/plan, they must at least provide a satisfactory speed to their users.
Vodafone is 50000 times better than Airtel regarding the 2G speed. I get 32kb-42kb/sec when I connect to the internet using my brother's Vodafone connection.
I'll switch to Vodafone since Airtel is a big fraud.
Airtel's reputation is beneath my shoes now.
Shame on Airtel.
