Dear Sir/Madam, GPRS on my mobile 9855620061 was activated without any request from me on 10/10 with its validity upto 31/10. On 31/10 at about 1345, I contacted customer care requesting deactivation. I was told that time left was less than 24 hours, so it can't be done. He said if at all you want it to stop then it can be the next day. I asked if any more deduction. To this he said Rs 60/ the monthly pack charges. I was yet to request that full charges should entitle me full month service. But call was snaped and SMS was recieved telling service will be deactivated on 01/11. Frusterated, I again tried to contact customer care unsuccessfuly. On 01/11 I found Rs 60/ debited to my a/c. I contacted CC. to bring home my point that now i may get validity 30 days but CC a female did not agree and cited my request for deactivation. My request to amend the deactivate request did not work. I asked her to refer me to the senior, was told to be on line and call was terminated. But I was satisfied to find the GPRS.intact on the morning of 02/11.
On 05/11 at about 1900, I recieve SMS that deactivation was under process. This time I dialled 198 but was in for the worse dealing. My Satwinder told flatly that GPRS stands deactivated and on my asking the logic call was shut. Please justify. Mohan Singh
