Defective Backberry phone delivered. No refund provided

This is regarding Order No. 30000018026 placed on Indiatimes Shopping portal on Dec 13 for Blackberry 3G for the amount of Rs. 11798/-.On receiving the item on Dec 19, the phone was locked (defective) and a case for cancellation (Complaint Id 45509) was made on the same day with Indiatimes.

The phone has been returned to the vendor, and has been confirmed to be received by the vendor but till date the Indiatimes authorities have not cancelled the order neither have they refund the amount.

I further went as they cancelled my Complaint Id by giving me a false confirmation that the refund would be credited in a day. It has been further 5 days and now they are telling me that it would take another 6 working days.

I have again registered a complaint on their site Complaint ID 81205 but still no action.

It's been 30 days and still the mental harassment is unbearable.

I shall be presenting the related documents at the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances office (Grievance Registration No. DOCAF/E/00016 and the Consumer Rights Forum office.
