I have pasted a copy of the mail that contained the details of the issue I am facing. And I do not hope to see any resolution this year, maybe not even in the next. In brief the purpose of this complaint is solely to warn you that I am stuck in this mess with airtel and hope that you stay away from them. If you are with them I suggest you get out ASAP!
Mail details: [This was sent in October to their call centre then with no solution till now. The amount mentioned has risen to 6000 now. And still no resolution. I had even contacted the nodal and appellate personnel but all are equally INefficient]
Respected Sir/Madam.
This is to inform you that though I have contacted you twice before to correct
the inconsistencies in the bill generated for 26-Aug to 25-Sep there
has been no resolution so far.
I first contacted your customer representative Miss XXXXX on 08th October,
2011 and informed them about the errors since nothing was done I called again
on 15th October and spoke to Miss YYYYYY, who informed that the issue
would be resolved by the EOD that day. TIll now nothing has been done and since
the due date is on the 24th of this month please do not expect me to pay the
inflated bill or pay any fines for not paying on time.
You have charged:
1750 for iPTV installation. This was paid when i filled in the application form
to Mr. XXXXX who is your sales representative.
826.10 for DSL Usage though I am on an unlimited plan. How could there be added
charges when I am already paying a rental of 1058.68 for the Unlimited plan.
And Miss XXXXXXX has informed that the unlimited plan was active for more than
a month.
After correcting the above mentioned please adjust the taxes accordingly.
If you are able to intimate the correct amount before the due date I shall
ensure that payments are made on or before the due date. Please do not expect
me to pay 4000Rs when the actual amount is close to 1200Rs.
