DESCRIPTION
I placed order for 32 products out of which one was "Himalaya Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo" on 28th Jan 12. I received the product in leaked condition on 5th Feb and same day raised the issue with their customer support by opening a support ticket. After this I just kept opening support cases and mailed them only to get no response or lukeworm response.
They asked me for pictures of the leaked product after 15 days of opening 1st case and how can they expect me not to use product which I needed for 15 days. they must have asked me for pictures in first instance itself which they did not.
They finally told me compensation of 200 pepper points which is equivalent to Rs. 200. Their policy at time I bought products was that I can use pepper points for anything above Rs. 200 purchase, in short to use 200 pepper points on purchase of Rs. 400.
After many tickets followup I was credited 200 pepper points in my account on 18th April which is 2.5 months after I logged my 1st complaint. Now their policy have changed. To use pepper points, i have to buy Rs. 1200 worth products from their website for utilizing my full 200 pepper points. Its just cheating customer by asking them to purchase Rs. 1000 worth more products just to get their compensation.
