ClassicInformatics
Partially developed website for me. Poor design, No refund, No Communication

Classicinformatics was hired to develope a website for my photography business. The project was started with a complete Statement of Work and complete timeline for delivery. Starting 9/12/05 and delivered 11/22/05.

The first month there was progress with developing requirements, starting design, etc.. During this time, Rajiv was promising me the world with their development team of the highest quality, etc.. The project slipped by the november delivery day, into 2006 with very little development work, and still no design of the website. (minimal funcationality was developed) The First part of I discussed with Rajiv that we needed to get this going for a 3/15 event I needed it for, else I would have to cancel and find a new provider.

At that time, he did agree to cancel, and refund my inital downpayment of 1187.50 (all that was given to him at that time) after he got money in his account but still promised that they would deliver on time, and with superior quality. After a week of waiting, and him promising, I decided to give them another chance to deliver since starting over would put me extremely over my required date. After deciding to stick with ClassicInformatics, our communication did become better, but the design become sloppier.

I delivered emails that would print 2 to 3 pages long of bugs to fix almost daily, due to fixing some bugs created even more. Finally another deadline came of June 1st, and I needed to get what was working on my server due to dire needs. No website, no income, etc.. So I agreed to pay the balance just to get something on my server for my customers to purchase from, and we could work from there to work out the final bugs.

Things got to the point where things were not being addressed, things were breaking, and SOW requirements were being told to me that they were unable to do unless I purchased additional things such as an SSL certificate (when it was implied from the beginning that we would use the servers shared certificate) and on and on and on.

Finally I had enuf and told them that this project was a failure, and I demanded my money back in full refund. Obviously they declined, so I am taking matters into my own hands and attempt to recover my losses/time/income/etc.. I have over 500 emails back and forth, and 100's of hours of chat sessions with ClassicInformatics as documentation if required. Can you please help me recover my losses. Thank you
