I'm a resident of Bangalore & my Airtel account no. is 15802366.
12th July: I had enrolled for an Airtel IPTV connection (Bill/CEF No. TBLR: 263287). I had even paid the installation amount of Rs.999 by cheque. I was informed that I will get the IPTV connection in a week. I waited for almost one and half months and nothing happened.
Aug 25: I registered a complaint (reference no. 2943608) with Airtel, there was no response!
Sept 2 to Sept 10: The complaint was followed by 3 mails to Airtel's Nodal Officers ([email protected]). Again, other than the nodal officers apologizing and ensuring me that the complaint has been forwarded to the concerned department, nothing happened!!
Sept 16: Unsatisfied with the response from Nodal Officer, I mailed the Airtel's Appellate Officer ([email protected].) giving all the details and the delay caused.
Sept 20: Another complaint was registered by Appellate Officer (reference no. 4378098) and I was told that it will be processed by 21st Sep 11.
While I got a call that it will be installed on the very same day, nobody came for installation.
Sept 21: Frustrated, I again mailed the Appellate Officer that I wouldn't prefer to get an IPTV connection after all these fuss and requested for refund of my money.
Sep 24: Appellate Officer replied stating that the delay is caused due to technical issue. On the same day I replied back again insisting on a refund of my money.
Sep 28: Appellate Officer registered a complaint (reference no. 4829284) and mentioned that it will be processed by 29th Sep 11.
Oct 27: I got a call from Airtel again regarding my very first complaint registered on Aug 25!!!
Every small thing takes months & months of time. Neither they are interested in providing an IPTV connection and even least bothered to refund my money even after one month of registering the complaint for refund!!!
