Airtel
DISSAPPOINTING SERVICE

Hi,

I have been a Airtel Customer for several years and a good one for sure – Paid on time and never created a fuss. I logged a ticket # 9236930 with your helpline with regards to my landline number 08041242511 as I had to move from my old residence in Koramangala to my new residence in Dollar’s colony. I was told by your helpline that it is not possible to move this connection to Dollar’s colony as the ports are not available and I was requested to cancel my account.

I called the helpline and logged a ticket on 4th Jan (Ticket # 9823286) and as a good customer – I agreed to cancel my account because there was no option.

I then got a call from Airtel in 3nd week of Jan stating that the ports are now available and I could request for re-activation of my landline with the condition that I may not be able to retain the same landline number – I agreed. They logged a ticket 10530154 and then requested me to submit documents to an Airtel representative for reactivation and change of address – I submitted all these documents and paid 100 rupees for stamp paper fees to the representative. The resolution date was given as 28th Feb. I called the helpline again on 28th Feb and they informed me that the resolution date has been extended to 1-Feb and the new ticket number is 10918068. I called up on 31-Jan to check status on 10918068 and they informed me that the resolution date has been extended to 3-Feb and the new ticket number is 11045126. I again called on 2-Feb to check status on 11045126 and they informed me that this ticket has been closed as the engineers had called me four times and I did not respond so they closed the call – THE FACT IS THOSE 4 CALLS WERE NEVER MADE TO ME – I HAVE THE CALL LOG. AIRTEL ENGINEERS HAVE LIED AND UPDATED THE TICKET STATING THAT I DID NOT RESPOND. I called up the helpline on and logged another ticket on 2nd Feb with a new ticket number 11175534 with a resolution date of 6th Feb. I wanted to speak to a manager in the helpline but the agent who took the call said all managers are busy and I call back the next day, The agent was rude and had no courtesy and did not even help me a bit apart from logging a ticket.

I need my issued resolved by 6th Feb and please do not get back to me stating that due to technical reason you cant help me – If that is the case you should have never called me to reactivate my account.

It is hard to believe that something as simple as moving a connection from one place to another is impossible to fix for a company as huge and technologically advanced as yours. The fact is you don’t want to waste time and resources to look into a problem of an individual consumer. I think it has to be real big an issue for you to give attention. Total Disappointment..

I guess Airtel does not need any more customers – If you agree then you should stop advertising.
