INCORRECT BILLLING AFTER DISCONNECTION

This is is in regard to account number 15526398, for which cancellation request was given on 12th November. Complaint no 7137426. Until then all the bills were paid on time.

After which followed by mental trauma and agony to call every week trying to disconnect the account. I reside outside India and trying to reach a customer care person is nothing less than torture.

They have now charged me a bill for the month of December-jan for which i am not liable to pay!!!

Yesterday i received a mail saying they will start legal proceeding for an amount of Rs 1122/-, and asked to contact some Sunil who never picks up the phone or keeps it switched off!!!

How am i supposed to come to lokadalat? will Airtel reimburse all the international calls i have made to their customer care numbers or pay for my airline tickets so i can come to India to solve the issue with them?

Each time a customer care person says it will be resolved. Why should i pay for something they are liable for?

Airtel needs to reevaluate the way they function!

I need some action on this matter for wrongly billing me!!!
