Airtel Broadband (Wireline) - Didn't get new conn. after 2 months and 2 applications

CEF.NO291307 this is the ID of the second application number submitted on 03-10 earlier I had applied for the connection on 19-08 . My area SR Nagar in Bangalore has airtel connection availability.

A guy from airtel's connection dept (like there is one?) came and told me the first application might have been collected by same fake airtel employees

if that's true then how come these "fake"s know about a request raised to the airtel customer care (12190) from Airtel mobile phone.

Anyways since I paid via checque the first time and I blocked that, and submitted a new application at this time the guy told me they will give me the connection with in a maximum period of 7 working days (Now its 18 working days past and no news).

I am already using a tatadocomo 3g connection without any issues (I was not happy with the 10GB limit) that's the only reason I wanted a wireline . the Guys @ Airtel have proven that it was a wrong decision. Now I am switching all my mobile connections also to TATA DOCOMO lots of people I know are also doing that (since airtel's 3g dataplans are not good enough and connection speed and customer service is getting worse by the day).
