Story of rude and shameless immature response from airtel customer care

On a real sad note I am writing this complaint but I have been left with no other option.

My account no is 15143422. I am a living in Bangalore and using the airtel broadband from last one and half year. I got the 080-42073939 as landline number in August.

I changed my location in Dec from BTM to Koramangala and transferred my broadband also. I got the new number 080-41217092 on 5th Dec. From that day I am facing so many issues and I raised so many complaints, more than what I had never done in the last 1 and half yr.

First I didn't receive my Airtel landline bill and I filed the complaint#41092832 for duplicate bill. After that also I didnt receive any bill and I called the customer care for the status of my complaint. I came to know that the comaplait had already been closed without confirmation from me.

But I raised another complaint #41447326 for duplicate bill again. And luckily I got the bill on 6 Jan. And the mentioned no on my phone bill is 080-41217092 (new no)

I tried to pay the bill online but came to know about one more issue.

1) At half of the places in database still my no was 08042073979 which is my old no and at other places it was 08041217092 (new no).

Because of this I was unable to pay my bill online. So I raised one more complaint #41677000 for syncronization of database and not able to do the online payment (as it is still reflecting the no under Ankit Srivastava and by easy bill payment it is showing not a valid number) on 7th Jan 8 a.m and whose resolution time was 8 Jan.

On 7th Jan when I returned from office, my phone was dead.

And on Saturday, 08th Jan I got a phone call from customer care for the resolution of complaint. He told me that my no is 080-42073979 (old no). I narrated him that I transfered my phone and got new no and whatever he is referring that is an old number. Then he asked some stupid questions from me. 1) Is the transfer of line has been completed? 2) And who gave you this number? I explained him this is why I raised a complaint to synchronize their database. and also told him my phone is also dead and raise another complaint #41883374 for my dead phone line. He replied that I will get back to you and never received a phone call from him.

From the last one week I am receiving a call from customer care regarding complaint #41677000 and I am narrating the same story but no one is properly working on this.

I am fed up of this whole procedure and customer care is disturbing me in my office also but not resolving the problem.

I never received any call for my dead phone complaint. But my internet was working.

The real problem started today (16 Jan) afternoon when my internet got disconnected. I called the customer care, and the story that follwed was more hilarious as well as frustrating. The lady who attended us, Lingamani, first refused to accept that the number for which I have been registering and complaining about doesn't belong to me and raised another complaint with the complaint #41995158 for the situation, that is our phone number is mismanaged and it has been dead for the past week and the internet is also not working. Besides this, the tone and the handling was utterly immature, where firstly she tried to put the blame on me for not getting the things resolved before and then putting the blame on the lineman people for not attending the complaint earlier. Also, she gave an ETA of 6:18 PM IST of 16th January i.e. today evening by 6:18 PM. In the meantime, she did told, rather challenged me many a times that do whatever you can or want to, we won't do anything else. In a sense challenging us to goto court if we want to. To top it all, after some 5 minutes we got another phone call from the Airtel people itself saying that because of non payment of the bill our connection has been disconnected permanently.

Now I am not able to understand who is responsible for nonpayment of bill. Is it me who raised a complaint for the payment or airtel department who didn't resolve it. Instead of that they disconnected my line.
