Dear Sir,
This Complaint is regarding the use of Peer to Peer softwares on the Airtel Broadband. I am having a plan which gives me 15 GB of usage at the speed of 1 Mbps and 256 kbps beyond 15GB usage according to the FUP (fair usage policy). The problem is, as soon as i start any peer to peer software such as Bit Torrent or u-Torrent. The speed initially goes up to its expected speed but gradually comes down to 0. Hence i am unable to download any content from a peer to peer software. i raised a complaint with the concerned dept. regarding the same but they say that "THEY DON'T SUPPORT" peer-to-peer softwares. Now My Question is, if they are giving me 15 GB usage at the cost of some 1300/- (including taxes), Who the HELL are these people to decide what kind of stuff i download from the internet (be it from any site or from a peer to peer software). If already i am given a restriction of 15 GB for an "unlimited plan", i should be having complete freedom of using the 15 GB as i choose to...
Request you to take this issue on priority...
Would be glad if you could do something in this regard,
Parag.
