Dear Sir,
I am a consumer of Airtel Broadband and recently my DSL modem started to malfunction. I immediately reported this to customer care. The customer care refused to take the complaint and informed me that DSL modem is my responsibility and I have to buy a replacement from their designated service centers. The price for DSL modem would be Rs. 800/-.
When I bought the connection, I paid Rs.800/- for installation and all the equipment supplied by Airtel broadband was covered in it. At the time of installation it was committed to me that modem and all the equipments are entirely responsibility of Airtel till the time I continue using the connection.
However, now Airtel is refusing to replace the modem by stating the excuse of change in company policy. As I made purchase before the new policy, so my equipment is covered under old policy and it should be replaced immediately by Airtel broadband.
Please do the needful to resolve my complaint at the earliest.
