I have taken the 512 kbps Night unlimited plant. My bill for september came to about Rs 9, 500/- which was a shock because my bill regularly reaches about Rs 1, 200/-. I filed a compliant on 1st October (No.131514) to check the billing. I found that they had charged me over Rs 1000/- from 9:50 pm to 10:00 pm when the plan says downloading becomes unlimited after 10:00pm. This occurred on several occasions. After calling 121 several times, their technical department informed me that rs 7, 596/- had been waived from my bill and that the amount would reflect in my next bill (ref. no. 167058)

This month (October) I have received a bill showing no such waiver of the amount and asking me to pay the full amount of both last month and this month amounting to Rs. 11, 596/-. There seems to be no coordination between the technical and billing departments. Repeated calls to 121 just put me off for 24 or 48 hours. Making the customer follow up on such issues where we are not at fault is totally wrong on the part of Airtel.
