Non-functional Braodband connection

Since 26.2.2011 i've sent several complaints to Airtel at their e-mail addresses regarding non-functioning of my broadband connection. When their only response was to send acknowledgment mails i informed them of my intention not to pay the fixed charges for the broadband since i was not using it. Later i even informed them of my desire to surrender the connection.

On Sunday, the 21st of May Shri Rohit Sharma, Mobile No. 09717968979, an Airtel representative called me up to request me for payment. When i refused to pay till the broadband connection was repaired, he took me on telecon with Shri Sunil of Customer Services, Mobile No. 08826291500, who assured me that my complaint would be resolved as soon as i paid up and my connection was restored. i obliged by paying up the same day in cash.

Today is 26th of May, 5 days from that Sunday, and no technician has arrived till now for looking into the complaint.

I had never thought that a company like Airtel could be so indifferent to customer complaints.
