Complaint about Asian world Tiles showroom in Bangalore
I was looking for tiles for my commercial establishment. I went into Asian Tiles showroom in Double Road, Bangalore and I almost got convinced with the quality and pricing of tiles. I was in need of tiles for about 16, 000 Sq.ft and I did mention to the representatives & manager about my budget very clearly. There were two designs I liked one is, Red flinstone and other one is Pine Coffee. I was told that both are costing same price. And there were some more tiles available for which the samples were not there in the showroom. Showroom manager told me that I can come by next day at 11:00 am and he'll have the samples ready for me to look. And also he mentioned that he'll look into reducing the price of the tiles as I was negotiating the price. The next day I went to the showroom at 10:50 am. The samples were not arrived from the Depot and I was waiting for almost 3 hours until the samples arrived. I had my architect to travel from coimbatore to Bangalore that morning to finalize on the tiles. He was also waiting there with me throughout this time. After we looked at the sample tiles, we decided to go with Pine Coffee tiles and matching pine coffee bathroom tiles. The day before, the pricing was given as Rs.36/sq. ft. But the next day morning the manager told the price is Rs.46/sq.ft. He said the "pricing is different today". After waiting so long the treatment what we got from the manager of the showroom is really pathetic. Still I have the written quotation from them for these tiles. The treatment given by the manager is so bad and how asian granito can hire these persons as managers. If I was told earlier itself that the tile price is high and not in my budget I would have walked away and I would have gone into a showroom where my needs are met. Giving false promises/quotations like these simply doesn't help anyone. I felt humiliated, insultated and I felt sorry for having brought my architect all the way from coimbatore to Bangalore.
