Credit card status not known!!! PAINFUL

Hi,

I applied for the credit card and got the reference # as 1743072 via SMS to my mobile. I as well got a few verification calls and the person from the verification dept came to my residence to verify the residence proof. Still there is no update about the status. CAN SOMEONE LOOK INTO THIS???
