This is in reference to the Lifetime free Credit Card Scheme AXIS BANK offered me.
One fine morning a AXIS bank employee calls me and informs me about this Lifetime Free Credit Card Scheme wherein I’m eligible for a Gold Credit Card. He tells me that all the employees of EnCircle (my current employer) are eligible for this Credit Card Scheme. Then the next day, they turn up at my office and call me outside my office to give more information about their Scheme, thus hurting my production time. Although reluctant to proceed with the AXIS bank, some how he convinced me to proceed further with the application as it is Lifetime free. The Salesman told me that I’m eligible for the Gold Card and took all the required documents from me.
Then came the round of Nagging Phone calls for Verification from the AXIS bank CC team, and I replied the same honestly.
Today I got a SMS from them that my Silver credit card application has been denied, without any clarifications. Now have these guys gone crazy……first its not me who applied for this Credit Card, its they who offered me this Card, wasted my precious time, took my documents and then tell me that your application has been denied. Secondly they denied me a Silver credit Card, but according to them wasn’t I eligible for a Gold card? Third on what grounds have they denied me a Credit card. I have a pretty good credit history and also my monthly inflow is pretty good which forced their Salesman to tell me that I’m pretty easily eligible for a Gold Card.
I would advise others not to waste time with AXIS BANK in Credit Card matters as I have heard from my colleagues about similar complaints.
