I have credit card of AXIS BANK, with which I have following problems.

1) when i made payment of USD600 on 23-09-08, immediately I was sent an SMS by bank system that i was charged Rs.28194/- and according to my calculation also (=600*45.62*1.03) that was proper amount to be debited since spot rate was Rs.45.62/USD and generally 3% markup is there when it involves two currency.

later i was told that i was going to be charged Rs.28370 for the same transaction. Now despite the bank itself indicated the amount to be Rs.28194 i am being charged excessively i.e bank itself has two different amount.when i complained about it to bank they told me that 28370 will be charged and not Rs.28194 which they themselves told me by SMS

2) also the same bank has promised me to pay cash back of 4% on my air ticket booking of Rs.10674 but i have been given only 200/- cash back and not the due amount (i.e 10674*0.04=424Rs). even if credit is due for very long period i am not given the enough cash back.

so instead being given credit i am being charged excessively by axis bank
