Dear Sir,

I purchased Bajaj Kristal (Frame # 16403, Engine # 16535) on 11/07. Right from the 2nd free service the silencer has been giving problems. The authorized Bajaj service centre, Baroda Auto Centre, Sama, Vadodara suggested that the silencer needs to be replaced and assured that since, the vehicle in under warranty the same shall be replaced free of cost. In the subsequent services I was told that the spare part (silencer) is in short supply and should be available within a months time. It is now almost more than 8 months and the silencer has not been replaced. Every time the service centre gives us only assurances that they will do the needful in a short course of time. However, no concrete measures are being taken. I am totally disatisfied with the service.

I would therefore urge you to look into this matter and do the needful at the earliest so that this problem is sorted out before the warranty lapses.
