I got a bajaj majesty 1.8litre RCX7 for rupees 1399.00 on 8th of august from croma koramangala, HM Vibha towers and paid an amount of rs. 120.00 towards extended warranty after 2 years . costumer no 9024361 and bill no 147103916.within a week it stopped working on 14 august . i got a replacement on 15 august. a fresh equipment was given to me.(the cost of the cooker was slashed to rupees 999.00 for independence day. May be that’s the original price.
on 10 september it again stopped working. the costumer service executive at croma told me to bring the equipment and get it serviced. when i went to croma the costumer service executive gave the address of the service centre in tavarekere road. I was given an option of allowing the equipment to get serviced within 15 days.
My question is the non functioning of the equipment twice within 2 months. Can a file a case against croma for dealing within inferior materials.also since they had given a 3 year guarantee could they have replaced the cooker.
Please advice.
