Non reversal of priority circle charges

Sir,

I am holding Barclays credit card for the past 2-3 months. I did not use the card immediately

as it was not necessary. I received a message after 3 weeks saying that my limit was reduced

with immediate effect. Later, on 21.11.08 my card a/c was debited to the tune of Rs 6000/- as priority

circle charges and service charges of Rs 741.00.when i requested the Barclays to reverse the charges

I was told that it is not possible to reverse it. Till today I have not purchased anything from the Barclays

card. I have been getting daily calls from mumbai and Chennai for payment of this amount, but

now with a late payment fee of Rs 700/- added to the earlier debits.

whenever I ask the caller to check the system and verify the txn, they say that the server

is down.
