Late payment fee and about membership

I am holding a Barclays Credit Card since last 1 1/2 yrs. I dropped cheque in suggested drop box within due date and bank not processed my cheque in time. B'coz of late processing cheque by bank they added late fee and interest in my balance.!! i got a call regarding lifetime membership joining!!! they asked 4, 000RS for joining that circle i told am not having that much cash now!! they told they will take money from barclaycard n no over due payments for this so i agreed!! ut now they included overdue payments for that month's bill!! there is no service centres in chennai nor tamilnadu for contacting the bank too!! pls help us regarding this!!
