Berkeley Automobiles, Panchkula - Maruti A-Star
Misbehaviour by Customer Care Manage

I had purchased A-Star in March. Before buying the car I suryved in Chandigarh dealers who can give me better service but most of my friends suggested me to purchase A-Star from Berkeley Automobiles, Panchkula. Though, my workplace and my residence is around 30 kms far from the said dealer in Pancbkula, I still went there for purchase. I was warmly welcomed by the sales staff and the car was delivered to me happily. As soon my first service was about to be due I started getting calls from the Berkeley workshop in panchkula about the 1st service and also they inquired about the working of my vehicle. I was very happy with their working as I myself was not that much carying about my vehicle as they were. One of the Berkeley employees came to my residence and took my vehicle for the 1st service as I could not get leave from my office and it was far away also. In the evening when the vehicle was dropped at my doorstep after the 1st service, I was shocked to see that the car was not properly serviced. The black grease finger prints were seen on the body as well as on the dash board. The foot mats were also very wet. I asked the person who delivered the vehicle to me about all this, he asked me to contact the customer care manager (Ms. Jasleen). when i contacted on phone to her, she misbehaved with me saying that i should be thankful to me that they had picked and dropped the car from my residence. I was really very upset on her behaviour. Next day i got a call berkeley (Ms. Pooja) she appologised from me about yesterday's CCM's behaviour and assured me that she will look herself personnaly next time when i will come for the 2nd service. I told her that its not possible for me to come as its almost 27 kms onway from my residence and moreover there are around 3-4 authorised service stations nearby, but she insisted me to come next time to their office and get the service done over there. On second serivce i myself went there taking half day leave. (That day Ms. Pooja was not well and was on leave) I reached Panchkula, Berkeley workshop at around 9:20am and booked my car for service and told them that my car should be ready by 1:00p.m as i have to go to my office half day. At around 10:30 am. there was loud noises in the workshop and it came into light that someone has stoolen the keys of one alto car which had came for service. Their Manager (Mr. Mankoo) had taken the entire serivce staff in one corner and were searching for the lost key. It was learnt from sources that it was sixth time in one month that the keys had gone missing from the workshop. I tried to contact the manager for early delivery of my vehicle as it was almost 12:30p.m. but could not meet him as he was very much busy. I was bit reluctant to contact CCM because of her early misbehaviour but left with no other option o contacted the CCM regarding this. She again talked roodely and said that" if you could not spare time for the service then why u have come here" all in front of other customers. Others also objected to her behaviour but she left the scene saying that the company is paying for the lost keys and their search is more important then doing service rightnow. I took my car from the service centre after informing the supervisior and signing on his gate pass. It was almost 1:00 p.m.by then. To my surprise next day i got a call from the CCM's table that i had not paid the alignment and balancing charges and had forcebly taken away the car. I told CCM that the service was not done even the washing was not done and no alignment and balancing was done. But she kept on saying the same that i have to pay the money or else i will be in trouble. She threatned me that they will inform all the service centres and it will be difficult for me to get my vehicle serviced in future. She called and threatned me many times. The Lady (Ms. Pooja) on whose request i had gone their for serivce she felt very sorry, but it was learnt by me that her (Ms. Pooja) service has been terminated by CCM. Ms. Pooja had given a lot of business to Berkeley, even my whole friends and family circle had purchased our vehicles from Panchkula on her recommendations, since we are staying in Mohali, it was all due to the kind heartedness of the employee, but now SEEING THE MISBEHAVIOUR OF BERKELEY'S CCM (Ms. JASLEEN), I DON'T THINK BERKELEY WILL DO BETTER IN FUTURE. I don;t know what to do as my car's third service is also getting due shortly. Please advice.
