Sub Cheating and deficiency in Service.

I would like to bring to your notice the following points

1) I am airtel customer for the last 7 years and my mobile No. is 9849666250

2) I am regularly paid all the payments before due date

3) My bill planning was in 99 and without my consent airtail people changed my billing to 149/- in Jan bill.

4) The disadavantage and burdening me is

a) I have to pay extra Rs50/- rental

b) No advance payment for one year in this plan where I will get 50% discount in my 99/- plan

c) Call to land line is Rs.2/- instead of Rs.1/- in my earlier plan

5) When I complained to customer care executive Mr. Vijaya kumar he

Informed that he will take up he issue and told my case will be considered as a privilege customer and hence airtel management will revert back to Rs.99/- plan. The reference number given to me is 044075058 dated 15/01.He informed within 24 hours I will get confirmation.

6) As on today i.e., on 22/01 there is no confirmation from airtel people and

when I contacted airtel customer care centre today Mr. Srikanth customer executive informed that he is unable to trace the reference number given to me. Hence I again narrated the whole story to him and he asked me to wait on the phone since he is contacting bill dept and revert to me. But my surprise after 5 minutes the phone was disconnected without informing anything. He even not tried to contacted me even though my cell number is with him.

I am sincerely feeling

1) This is one type of cheating public.

2) Withinout informing customer how airtel can change the plan

3) In the changed plan again tariff is on high side with disadvantage package.

4) One more grievance during dec 08 month that when My network disconnected on roaming the same was complained to airtel informing that all my business connections were suffered during tour because of network not working and airtel people expressed sorry. But in Jan bill again roaming charges also included. When I brought to customer care centre so far no action is taken.

5) For genuine customer cheating like this kind is not correct and If I not received proper reply I have approached district consumer forum along with all details such as earlier bill plan, imposed present bill plan and complaint reference numbers in my cell given by concerned dept., etc., to substantiate the claim if I am not justified.
