This is with reference to a BIG TV connection which I had subscribed too. Unfortunately this has been one of my worst decisions made. The engineer, who had come for initial installation on 4th November knew there was less signal availability, yet he carried on with the installation. After he went the problem started from the very next day. After thinking it would be a temporary issue I did not call them but after continuous problem, finally I logged a complaint with the customer care on 10th November. I was given a ticket number 79982014 saying it would be solved within 48 Hours (Phew 48 hours for a complaint to be resolved for a new connection taken 6 days ago and they claim to be India’s best DTH service). So I waited, then I called up the customer care on 11th November as no engineer had called or visited. I was given an assurance that the engineer would come the next day. The next day came and went but no sign of engineer. Another call to the customer care gave me an assurance that the engineer would visit the very next day. So I had nothing to do but wait. 13th November came and went, yet no sign of engineer. This happened even after escalating to the senior customer care executive. I waited again for the engineer/technician on 14th, but even after waiting the whole day when nobody came, my obvious reaction was to call the customer care number, and guess what, I got the shock of my life. They said that my call was already successfully closed. When I told them that nobody had called or visited my place. They said they would now log a new ticket (Ticket Number 80347235) and given an assurance that the engineer would call/visit within 48 hours.
So now I have come the whole circle. And I learnt the lesson of my life, never to subscribe to any reliance products/services and never recommend the same to anybody.
