Ruthless behaviour of BMTC Drive

Dear official,

I bring this complaint to your notice with pain that we commuters need to undergo while travelling in your BMTC service which is the most sought reliable transport system in the city.

This incident took place on 26-Aug at around 9:10 am. I was actually trying to help a visually challenged person to get into the bus wherein he was relying on me to board him as he doesn't have vision power at all. He was trying to get to Peenya II stage and I was trying to help him to board the bus waiting at Jalahalli Cross.

At around 9:10 am, the bus route number 248, with the regestration number KA01 F 4697, was just heading towards Jalahalli Cross at the circle. The bus satrted getting moderatley crowded by the people. The visually challenged person whom I was trying to help him out to board the bus, asked me to help him by guiding him towards the front door. The driver suddenly got wild and started using Filth words and abused me in singular. He abused be by saying "Hogolo, akadege. Ningu Kannu Kanalveno" (in a rough tone). He went on with more filthy words but I had to handle the visually challenged person and thereby I couln't argue with him.

Visually challenged people relay strongly on others for support to commute from one place to another. Abusive words like these would ot not hurt their emotions but also can diminsh their self confidence. I do not understand why does BMTC employees such ill-mannered employees who instead of carrying the organisations pride, spoil thier brand name.

Sir, I seek your kind response to this. I view BMTC as a service more than an Opreating business. I do understand the in peak hours it is dufficult to control the public, but atleast your drivers must atleast cast expected politeness to physically challenged persons, which is a basic humane tendency.

Seeking you kind reply,

Regards,

Arun
