Delay in servicing of mobile phone

Sir;

I had given my 12 months old Spice 810 Color mobile phone for service. Earphone symbol was appearing on display which was making unable to atten any call. the handset was getting swithced off automatically. I have given my handset to your authorised service centre i.e. Hot Spots Mobicare, Gandhinagar, Bangalore on 23.06.2009. I was told that, estimate will be given on the next day if it require major service. till now I have not received any call from your office. When I contacted Hotspot, they are not responsing properly and saying it will take another one more week. Do you think a person can manage without mobile for 2-3 weeks at the present market situation. Please let me know whether I have to forget my Spice Mobile and go for another new handset
