Sir,
I applied for provision of Broadband services on 06.06.2009 at Joka Telephone Exchange against my telephone number 033-24383576 (Case Mark No. C/KTL/CV/09-10/0040 dated 06.06.2009 and Application Form No. MS/0183974). I was given the impression by one officer at Joka Telephone exchange (I do not want to mention his name) that Broadband will be provided within 4-5 days' time. The modem was provided to me on 09.06.2009. But till date (30.06.2009), even when 24 valuable days have passed, nothing has been done. I am yet to get my user id and password activated. Now, my question to your goodself :
i) Whether I made any mistake in choosing BSNL/Calcutta Telephone as service provider?
ii) Whether this is the normal time taken by BSNL for providing Broadband or is it my misfortune?
iii) Whether this is a lackadaisical approach on the part of the Calcutta Telephones, in the face of a strong challenge from the other private sector companies providing broadband?
iv) Whether I can still trust the responsibility and responsiveness of Calcutta Telephones?
