I was on the Home Plan 500, till November when the much hyped advertisement was publicized widely with BSNL ' REDUCES ITS RATETO RS.500/- UNLIMITED'. On applying for the same I was told that they would intimate the effective date to me, which they never bothered to do so. Instead they stopped displaying the usage chargeable details from 6th December to ' 0 ' units everyday and the final chargeable units showed as on the close of 31st December, was 348.54 Mb. And I was billed for the sum of Rs.4133.60 P for the Dec 08, broadband uage, against my initial Home Plan 500. Again in the January Bill, they have charged me with Rs.750/- as Broadband Rental which is a different Plan altogether for which I have not applied at any point. In spite of my repeated plea to all concerned officials of Calcutta Telephones (D.E. (Intl), Dum Dum Exchange, Nodal Officer, Kolkata, Appellate Officer, Kolkata), my complaint has found no redressal from any quarters. I have also registered my complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (Complaint No. 168425 dated 04.02.09), still awaiting for their necessary action. I have repeatedly asked for the details of chargeable units usage for the month of Dec 08, which they have yet to comply with. I have a copy of the same as displayed in my portal id usage details to justify my claim, which they are not taking into account for reasons best known to them. It is surprising that the Bills of BSNL does not reflect any usage details making it questionable at every stage of doubt. For me it is shocking that I have to face such an ordeal from a large Govt. organisation like
BSNL.Will anyone speak from BSNL?
