Non receipt of policy document/cover note

I have renewed Insurance policy for my Santro Xing TN-01-W-2859 today paying the premium amount of Rs. 2539 (old policy no. OG-09-1518-1801-00000839 expiring midnight of Aug 7). I was told that an e-mail of the policy will be sent to me within half an hour of my payment which was at 1500 hrs on 7-8-09 and that a hard copy would be posted to the registered address. No cover note was issued. Till now I have not received any e-mail of the policy. I have already e-mailed the bajaj office regarding this at [email protected] and would like to register my complaint over shoddy customer service. The person who collected my premium amount is Mr. Manoj - cell no.9789091982.I would hold Bajaj Allianz fully responsible if any issues arise due to this delay in issuing policy/cover note.
