Carrier - Durakool 1.5 Window A/C
Faulty item delivered - Poor QC

I purchased a Carrier - Durakool 1.5 Ton Window A/C in Chennai on 20th April, cost me around 18, 900.

While the product was being installed, a defect was noticed. It was producing more noise level than the normal. Then as per installation technician's advise I registered a complaint with customer care. Same day evening service guy has come and checked the A/C. His finding was really shocking, He said 2 major defects are there in the unit.

1. Alignment of fan and motor..etc are not proper

2. Broken Fan Blade

3. Broken vent lever (minor)

This came as a shock in a brand new product coming from a reputed company (I think its their claim only) like Carrier. This incident shows they are simply pasting the QC sticker without having any real QA/QC.

Now the service engineer has taken all broken parts and he assured new parts will be delivered in another one day. I lodge this complaint to highlight and make everyone aware of such irresponsible pre delivery inspections by Carrier.

All, Please think twice before buying Carrier products with your hard earned money. I will update the progress.
