Dear Sir:
I entered a Chevron Station to fill up my car. I was sure I needed air in my tires and approached the full service side. The attendant informed me that it would be extra for full service. Thinking it could not be that much, I agreed. He pumped gas in my car, he filled my tires and the entire process took about four minutes. I believe the unleaded was 2, 55.pr gallon. I filled up at 16 gallons.
Much to my shock, he presented me with a credit card slip for $77, 68. I could not believe my eyes! I am prepared to report this to Channel 3 but thought I would give you the chance to rectify this scam. He never informed me how outrageous the addition I am 72 years old on social security and am appalled that this occured. Your immediate reply would be appreciated.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
The station was on 7th Avenue and Bethany Home Rd. I have the sales receipt if you wish I did not expect to pay $37.00 to fill my tires with air which took approximately 1 1/2 minute.
