Dear Sir,
It has been alomost 5 years that i closed down my credit card- acct no- 5546199141386003 pos the final settlement amount of 26000/- sometime in 2004.
Same year I got transferred and now I no more live in Indore.
I have received a call from citibank customer care/credit card function last week and as per them my outstanding is around 1.5 lacs. (I am surprised and shocked). I told them that I made the last final settlement amount of 26000/- but still they are now continuing with threatning calls.
Why would I make the payment of 26000/- (one time) had it not been the final settlement?
After 5 years of long gap citibank people are calling me to make 1.5 lacs payment and leaving me with no clue as to why am I asked to make the payment after the closure?
i wrote a mail to customer care citibank but they have not responded.
I request you to pl look into this matter and help me resolve the concern raised. I am sure that the complaint would be dealt fairly and speedily.
