Do not call registry of no use

I have already registered for your-Do not Call-registry 2 times, but of no avail. I continue to get obnoxious telemarketing calls at all times. Please let me know on telephone whether there is some way out of this menace or not. If not, am I left with no other alternate but to approach a court of law.
