I am red season member of CM. I have been calling Club mahindra for a vacation for 25th-31st december (six months in advance). The response I get is:

1. This time slot is marked for purple members only.

2. You will get a chance to book only 15 days in advance.

3. You cannot upgrade to purple membership, because that is sold out.

4. For resorts where the red season is till 28th, it is completely booked and we cannot offer booking, although we can try...

5. We can offer you booking in one of the resorts up north (where it would be cold, but it gives you a different feel..)

I requested to be connected with the supervisor, after 3 unsuccessful attempts, each time providing my member id, and authentication details. I was connected. He was better spoken, but he admitted that CM is infact running short of rooms and they'd fix the problem in near future.

SO, PLEASE BEWARE OF ALL THESE POINTS BEFORE BUYING HOLIDAYS IN CM.

1. THEY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH ROOMS

2. THEY ARE NOT DOING ENOUGH DUE DILIGENCE TO SEE WHICH RESORTS ARE IN MOST DEMAND AND HOW THEY SHOULD INCREASE CAPACITY.

3. THEY HAVE A INSENSITIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE (I WAS TOLD THAT FOR THE PURPLE SEASON, I WOULD NOT EVEN BE TOLD THE AVAILABILITY, SINCE I WAS NOT PRIVILEGED ENOUGH..)
