I am a journalist of Ananda Bazar Patrika Group (ABP). I want to lodge a complaint against Club Mahindra Group for unnecessarily harrassing me over telephone, using abusive language. On 7th December the employee who introduced herself as Purnima Das, called me up in my mobile at 6.46 pm from a landline number (033 64544095) to inform me about some lucky draw contest where I was the winner. When she started explaining me about my prize I did not find it interesting enough and straightaway told her not to contact me any more. I also catagorically told her to delete my number from their database to avoid further conversation. To my utter surprise, this lady Purnima, called me up over and over again for 4 times (6.48pm, 6.49 pm, 6.51 pm) I felt disturbed and asked her, why she is calling me even when I am not interested. At that, she just shouted, "BASTARD" and snapped the line.
I reverted back to the line to check authenticity of this number 033 64544095. It was a board line. When the call was transferred to Purnima Das, I gave my introduction and demanded a WRITTEN apology otherwise I would report to the police. She said that she doesn't have any e-mail access and transferred the call to their tele-marketing manager, Bappa Biswas (thus how he introduced himself). The manager also refused to apologise in writing.
On 8 December I filed a GD at our local police Station (Sonarpur P.S). The documents are with me.
