Late payment charges

My credit card no 5176 5338 7166 2018 issued by ICICI Bank. In the month of October I had made all payment due and asked them to cancel my card.

i've got a confirmation for cancel my card from their telbanking.

but still they are sending statement as rs.400 due.

.When asked they have no answer. Why should I Pay my hard earned money as late payment charges
