Today (19 November) while reading newspaper Hindustan Times, I came across DDA notification about checking the application list of all the people who so ever submitted their forms for the allotment would happen before 15 December.

I checked my aapplication number at DDA's website, answer it gave back after putting my application number was "Your application has been received". Thereafter out of curiosity I started putting arbit numbers but following their number format. Number format consist of 7 digits, starts with 0 and after that any 6 digits. If you go to their webiste and put in 0000000, which means application number is 0 status is "Application has been received". I am amazed is their an application number 0 as well. Best thing to check is if you have bought the application form but did not submit that form. It should provide a check for a doubt on DDA.
