SLAVES OF MODARN INDIA
Everybody from the privet sector will agree with the scale of exploitation that is happening with us daily. Of course the gentleman’s who are lucky or capable enough and are working with a company having a multinational link are in some comfort they are spared with the inhuman behaviour.
Mr. Abdul Kalam has forecasted that Indian will be a super power by but how? Is it by creating more slaves who can work for the money seeking leeches? Government is doing great but for whom? The government babus or us the privet employees? Making 6th pay commission was a great move but it has only benefited the govt. employees and has made the life of privet employees more miserable. Reputed Privet schools are increasing their fees by double but where a privet employ parent will get that money, is our generous government is looking in to that. The answer is no...
May be the slavery is in our blood, it has became a part of our human gin. It has inherited so deep in us that we can’t even differentiate in it now. We complain, we blabber with our colleges and friends and parents, girlfriends etc but in silent, we fear for our miserable job. What good is this, we know what independence is, and we are glad that we had achieved it after a long fight but for what? Is this the real independence that Ghandi or Netaji has dreamed about? The insecure feeling and partial slave of one way or the other. Is this? It’s high time that we Indians should stand up and revolt back, that we are equal to the foreign workers like U.K USA, Canada, est. We also have the same right on labour, equal wages, overtimes and against labour exploitation.
A common Indian works from 9am to 8 or 9pm commonly with no extra payment and in the cost of destroying his or her personal life. We are spared only for Sunday to wash our clothes and come back again on Monday. Did the government know that many of us are called by their respected company to come on gazetted holidays and even on Election Day?
The worst hit is the garment industry; it’s the most unorganised sector but giving India a huge foreign currency. But the inside story is that the owner only is getting benefited, every day the staffs return home at 9 pm or sometimes 10.
It’s a humble plea to the government to take action against this brutality that is going on daisy basis. BEFORE IT TOO LATE... All the devolved countries have understood that a happy employ can work with full motivation and hence the country will be grow much faster.
