Delay in passport issuing -7 months

My name is Atmaram and i applied my passport on dated 05/10 file number A020986 .

Police verification also completed from my home town as well as my current address.

My home town report was sent back to ghaziabad office on dated 23-FEb-07 but they are saying that they have not received yet.
