Refund due to reschedule of Avadh Express

I, on 21.3.08, booked online E- ticket (PNR No. 6113574812) of Train No. 9040 Avadh Express from Vadodara (BRC) Jn to Borivali (BVI) for 26.3.2008 and S8/0057/confirmed ticket was issued.

On 26.3.08, I went to Baroda from Ahmedabad where I reside, I came to know that Avadh Express is late by nearly two hours will come to Baroda on 23.25 pm. Then after it was declared arrival at 1.25 a.m. At 1.00 a.m. it was declared that Avadh will arrive at 3.00a.m.

I went to enquiry office and asked actual position for the arrival. The person incharage inquired to Ratlam station and told me that Avadh may come arround 4.00 to 4.30 a.m. On enquiry for cancellation of Avadh Ticket, he told me to send request at your end. As I have to reach Borivali in the morning, which was not possible due to late running Avadh train, I was left with no other alternative not to travel in Avadh train and traveled in Jaipur -Bandra Express.

After coming to Ahmedabad, i am sending this mail.

So it is my humble request to refund me for the above mentioned ticket, as i have not traveled due to often rescheduling of Avadh Express timing, which you can verify at your end easily.
