Hi,

I have purchased Godrej Edge GDE 19/B2 on 10-05 .It has been delivered to Home by 8PM on same day. While opening the box the glass for the tray has been broken inside. Delivery boy told Godrej will replace the Glass in next two days.

Sunday (11-05) I found problem with compressor which is making lot of noice. Whenever compressor starts it is making a sound of Half HP Motor. We thought New fridge will make noice, but noice didnt reduced. Evening called customer care (1800225511) and got complaint number and complaint numbr is 967788.

Monday one of the service techinician came and told that compressor is having problem and it will be replaced in 2 -3 Days.

But I cannot undersatand why the new fridge will have compressor problem, wether the product is tested properly or not? That techinician is so great that he asked us to weld the glass which has broken.

But after one week Compressor has been replaed, it is new or old dont know. But According to there manager whole unit will be replaced within 4 Days, but after 4 days got message from Godrej call has been closed.

Godrej is having very bad service procedure, service techinician who comes for repair not having ID card and they are not submitting any call report to customer.
