I am an MBA fresher and have been looking for a job and therefore have posted my Resume in a number of Job Sites and I attended a lot of Job fairs. In most of the Interviews I was told that I would be called or sent an e-mail in case I am selected. On 30/09/09 I receive this Direct Recruitments Offer from HCL which leaves me puzzled for a few secs. This letter stated that I have been selected to join as an Executive/Manager in a respective department of the Company. I realized instantly this was a fake offer letter that came to my mailbox as I had never applied for any such positions. For a matter of fact all the IT and ITES companys have rigorous selection procedure, I guess the fakers are too foolish to realize that. The letter had too many spelling errors, grammatical mistakes and and on top of that it asked you to deposit an amount of Rs. 6, 250/-. I guess this account number "30293533553" (Name of the account holder - Mr. SHIV KUMAR) should be traced to find out the real culprits. I wonder how many innocent people have lost their money to this frauds in the hope of getting a job.
I think it's high time for HCL to act upon this. I have read the complaints of the others who have received similar kind of letters and I think the company should not allow such kind of things to happen as this is defaming the organization by trying to reap money using it's name.
