LAPTOP WAS BOUGHT FROM CROMA MUMBAI ON 19-06.WAS SENT TO MY SON CAPT.MAHESH JAYARAM FOR USE ON BOARD ON SHIP. THE LAPTOP WAS RECEIVED BY MY SONAROUND 1ST WEEK OF JULY.THE LAPTOP WORKED FOR LESS THAN ONE DAY AND FAILED.WE TRIED TO CALL HCL TOLL FREE AND ALSO SOME NUMBER OF A LAND LINE. THEY WERE ALSO CONTACTED BY MY SON FROM THE SHIP VIA SATELITE PHONE.INSTRUCTION WAS GIVEN DO THIS AND THAT BUT THE PROBLEM REMAINED.THE LAPTOP WAS BROUGHT BACK TO INDIA AND HANDED OVER TO HCL TOUCH SERVICE CENTRE ON 01-09AND RECEIPT WAS OBTAINED VIDE SR.NO 5319 DT 01-09 AND SERVICE TYPE WAS UNDER WARRANTY. NEMOUROUS CALLS TO THE SERVICE CENTRE HAVE NOT YEILDED ANY RESULTS.PROMISE OF DELIVERY WAS MADE MANY TIMS AND NOTHING HAS HAPPENED TILL DATE.WE ARE NOT ABLE TO GET ANY PHONE NUM, BER OF HIGHER OFFICIAL OF THE COMPNY TO CONVEY OUR PROBLEM.IT IS GING TO BE NEARLY 2 MONTHS AND NO RESPONSE AND NO COMPUTOR.WE HAVE PAID 34990-00 AND IT LOOKS LIKE WE ARE IN FOR A LONG WAIT TO GET THE MATTER SOLVED. THE LAPTOP WAS BOUGHT FROM CROMA MALAD MUMBAI VIDE SALE NUMBER 102-286594`COMPLAINT SENT TO CROMA MUMBAI ON 07-07 ALONG WITH COPIES OF BILL AND LETTER RECEIVED FROM SHIP BY EMAIL REGARDING LAPTOP FAILURE.ALL COPIES OF CORRESPONDENCE SUBMITTED TO HCL TOUCH SERVICE CENTRE ALONG WITH COVERING LETTER .KINDLY LET ME KNOW WHAT'S TO BE DONE?
