Sir/Madam,

This is with regard to my credit card # 4346 7720 0387 1299. I have been holding this card for more than 3 years.

I took a credit this card of Rs. 8000/- in 2006 and after that I was paying this minimum amount what ever is updated in the outstanding statement for upto 2008. Then I went for full and final settlement to clear the outstanding. Upon mutual understanding happened between self and Ms Samira (representing your bank) it was agreed for an full and final settlement on Rs.13000/- with Rs.1000 EMI per month towards me after paying every month. I have religiously paid this EMI for one year and then also I had not received settlement letter from the Bank.

Much to my surprise on saturday 18th, Nove and 21st Nove evening I had recovery agents appointed by your bank at my residence doorstep in my absence and asking to my parent for recovery of outstanding.

I have got some serious concerns with the scheme of things happened today morning and was really aghast about the treatment and harassment meted out to my family members in my absence. Have really failed to understand why either the bank officials nor the recovery personnel contact self before taking such step.

For your information I am a middle class person. My Mother and father is BP patient also my younger brother is mentally retarted patient & these people coming to my house once in a month and Harassing to my mother and father in my absence with out any intimation where-in I have already updated my mobile number to them.

Finding my self stuck in a state of such mess and left with no option I went to bank to clear the above matter once for all. However much to my shock bank officials again showed Rs.15000/- outstanding balance on my credit card and said I have to clear this amount with in six month with EMI of Rs.2500/- per month then they will issue the settlement letter for me. If I already clear Rs.13000/- by giving 1000/- EMI every month then why again the statement has showing Rs.29000/- outstanding on my name?

Would also inform just to relieve my family from such recovery agents visit at my residence during my absence I have today again deposited 1000/- rs at your branch. For me this seems nothing short of a ransom paid.

I would sincerely appeal to all respective stakeholders to look into this as it really disturbs my mental stability.

Please do something as I strongly feel that this is affecting my mental health.

Request you to kindly address this concern at the earliest else I would be compelled to report this to the concerned regulatory bodies / ngo’s / banking ombudsman and also share my all negative experiences with your bank within my known circle.

After clearing all the above matter you are requested to discontinue my credit card.
